What questions should I ask at my quicken loans interview- mortgage banker?
Do I include loans and grants?
When using Turbo Tax it asks me how much money was owed to the school, and I copied that from the appropriate box, and then it asks me how much was paid. Do I include loans, grants and money out of my own pocket? If so, the amount owed would equal the amount paid, and I would just copy the number again. Does that sound right?
Can IRS take your taxes without no notification if you owe student loans?

How many rental propery loans can I finance?
My father and I are buying rental properties, we already have 7 financed loans. We were told that the limit from our lender is 10 fannie mae will not buy on the secondary market after that . I was told by a wall street journal loan guru that some banks will give an 11th loan if they keep it on there books. I have been having a hard time finding lenders that will do this. So I had a private student loan in forbearance for what I thought was 6 months. Then I went to my credit report to find out they it went into repayment at 4 months. So I called my servicer to find out what happen. They tell me they are no longer servicing my loan and that they transferred the loan because I defaulted at 60 days.So they get me in touch with with Keybank default group who told me to mail in payments. I asked for account number and they said don't worry about it and just include your social. Then I asked why it was in default for only a 60 day delinquency and they had no answer.A couple weeks later as promised I went to send the check but couldn't find the address so I contacted the old loan servicer and asked them for the information to get in touch with the new holder. They claim it was sold off to Keybank and gave me the number to their main branch to get my information there.So I call Keybank. They don't have me on file and I explained how the old holder said they sold it to Keybank. They can't find it. I get transferred 4 or 5 time and nothing. So I email the corp offices explaining my situation. They send me back and email telling me I have to go back to my school to get in contact with the holder of the loan because they no longer service student loans.So I call the school. They said after 5 years they are no longer legally obligated to keep up on the loan and gave me the number to the original loan holder. Sigh. So now I wait a month in hopes something will pop on my credit for non payment. So I get nothing.3 months pass and something finally pops up on my credit. Its a charge off. I start freaking out. Then to my suprise Keybank is the one who hits my credit. So I call the vice president of Keybank and he is still claiming they are not servicing my loan and are not in fact hitting my credit. I explain how its right in front of me. Then I ask how after all this time have my co signer or I have not received one phone call or letter. He says because its not them servicing.So I file a credit dispute and Key bank finally sends out 8 notices at once claiming Im defaulted on my loan and wants me to call and make payment arrangements.Do I have any recourse on getting this off my credit since my loan was a ghost in the wind? Should I ask for all the records involving my account to try and fix it or is it a lost cause?
Tax refund which is taken first child support or school loan?
I want to file taxes married filing jointly with my husband but I owe back student loans and he owes child support. If we file seperately or with that form so his money doesn't go to my prior loan then we have to pay upfront which I want to avoid. I am wondering which takes precidence child support or my loan? We won't get enough back to pay off each but I want to know which will the money go to first.
Home loan help. What can I use?
I am interested in buying a foreclosed house owned by Bank of America. The listing agent is totally incompetent and I have already started the process to report her to the local Realtor ethics board for her actions. From what she said I don't know what is true or not that because of the condition of the home it ONLY qualifies for a conventional loan and then refuses to even show the house unless we have a prequalification letter. Well after getting the run around from Bank of America, the lending agent tells me that all the repairs would have to be made before i could close with a conventional loan. TO top it all off Bank of America could tell me nothing on why I could only use a conventional loan with this house even though it is their property.I was under the impression that FHA loans were good if you were going to have to fix up a houseI also thought my husband qualified for a VA loan, Bank of America told me he had to have been a reservist for 6 years, even though he served a tour in Iraq. this is not a very big deal since he hits his six year mark at the first of April. If I can't use the first two because the house needs work WHY in the devil do I have to get a conventional loan even if repairs are going to have to be done before I can get it. Bank of America is not going to fix it. I want to fix this house because from what we can see it is all things we can do our selves. I am severely confused and becoming very angry in the whole process.Here is what we do know about the house. 21 years ago my parents almost bought the house and it was selling for almost 100,000, there are homes in the area going for 125,000 and up and they are much smaller than this one. They are asking a lot less than that. 21 years ago it was a super nice house and in good shapeIt has gotten a new roof in the past 3 yearsThe last owner died leaving it vacant for several yearsThe exterior is in BAD need of paintThe out building needs the floor jacked up but this is an old carriage house kitchen and is not going to have any affect on the living space From the outside most damage is minimal and can be fixed over one weekend with all my family's help. other than the painting We were told there is some water damage , we figure it most likely from before the new roof was put on, but we were not told much more other that " there is water damage" . We have also been told that there is a hole in the bathroom floor. There are supposed toit was supposed to say three and a half baths in the home. Since my landlord slapped some plywood and vinyl flooring down on the hole in the bathroom of the home we are renting and that is supposedly livable I don't see why I can't do the same and use the other bathrooms. My problem is how am I supposed to know what sort of loan i need to be go for if i cant see the house, can some one explain them in layman's terms The way she has been advertising the house is seems to be able to go ahead and be moved in. Other properties in this area that need extensive renovations repairs have been advertised as such. Even one that is livable just needs a lot of work with cosmetic things even states that. This has been nothing but a frustration for my whole family since we have multiple family members willing to invest in this house. OK after making some more phone calls. The home CAN be lived in right now. So it is not uninhabitable. This makes me even more confused on the loan stuff. Again I thought that the FHA loans were supposed to be good for fixing up houses like this.
Where should i go for a personal loan with a so so credit rating ! >>>?
I need to borrow about 7000 as I am getting married but my credit rating is a little poor, No defaults or CCJ s or anything, Just late payments here and there. I have had a few personal loans with Abbey Santander in the past which were all paid off successfully and on time but they have refused my latest application. Does anyone know a lender that takes into account things situations such as mine rather than the computer says no attitude?

I needed some cash short term and foolishly took out a payday loan twice this year when needed . I had no problems paying it back but since I took out the last loan I have now lost my job Trying to find another one now but does not help me when the company need to take money out of the month. I have contacted CAB for advice but after 2 weeks of waiting still nothing. Where do I stand with the company I do want to pay it but obviously I cant pay it off comletely. Can anybody help
