Question: Where can a 15 get a job in corpus christi?

I'm 15 but i want to start working so i can save up money to help start drivers ed. But i don't know what places will hire a 15 year old. HELP!

I would suggest finding something that is busy on the weekends so it doesn't affect your school. Restaurants are generally busy on the weekends. They might higher a dishwasher for the lunch hour hour or bus boy. They would probably pay minimum wage. You could also try theaters, they are generally busy on weekends. You may find it hard to find employment because of your age and the regulations involved with your permit because you can only work a certain amount of hours a week and you can only work until a certain hour in the day. The employer runs a legal risk with hiring you. However, this is America and no one can stop you from working for yourself. Or from you owning your own company. Kids are generally much more tech savvy than older people. I would get on the internet and buy a web hosting plan were you can have unlimited domains hosted on your plan and make very basic web sites for Mom and Pop type stores. You could charge them $10-$30 a month and create generic web sites for their businesses. If your parents already have internet access and give you a cell phone then you will have most of your start up cost met. Most hosting plans with unlimited domains are $6 to $10 a month. So after having your first costumer you will have most of your overhead cost met. If you are not so tech savvy then you might try starting a lawn maintenance service. If your parents have a lawn mower and weed whacker this can be very cheap to start up. In many cities there can be a fine if weeds grow above a certain height there are also fines. You may be able to use that as a selling point. When presenting your services to others you want to look as much like them as possible. So if it is the elderly you are targeting as your target market try to dress like they do with khaki pants and a button down shirt and a traditional hair cut. The more you look like them the more likely they are to relate to you and trust you. If you look like you are from a different generation they might think you have a different value system than they do and they may be skeptical that you will perform the service that you are offering.
