You are old enough. Now you just need to convince someone to rent to you. Most places will pass on the chance to have a bunch of kids in their place.

18 or 21 -- depending on the place (many hotels require that someone is 21) You may have trouble renting a nicer room because of your age and lack of a credit card (debit card is different). However, motels typically will rent to 18 year olds and many don't require a credit card on file - you can simply pay in cash.
