Question: Where and how to file when denied the right of first refusal in the district of columbia per real estate?

You need to check with a real estate attorney just to be sure, but I know here in Maryland you do not have a right of first refusal if the property is not a single family residence. In my case I live in a 3 unit apt. building. The landlord sold it just last month and I was thinking the same thing: I have first right of refusal. However since the property is classified as a multi-family, there is no first right (what if all the tenants wanted first right, who gets it?). Maybe you can talk to someone about having the first bid on the new condo, but I don't think it is going to go in your favor this time.
