Very few businesses in Pennsylvania will hire 14 and 15 year olds, because it's a royal pain. There's tons of extra paperwork, you can only work certain hours by law, etc. With all the people out there looking for work with less restrictions, you'll be their last choice. And why is "mow your neighbors lawn " a **** answer. It's money tax-free.

There is "berry picking " some of the farmers hire kids to pick strawberries for thier stands - but the season is short usually june and july not sure if the Erie Times still hire kids for paper routes since I have only had adults deliver my papers last few years Not sure about Waldemere Park they use to hire 14 year olds (but that was a few decades ago) Since Federal and state Regulations tend to decitate the age of the requirement to do certain jobs they may have changed their age requirements.
