Question: How can a person with a credit score of 520 finance purchasing a new used car?

Let's say the persons original car is literally on it's last leg. However, they have a very low credit score and don't have that much money in the bank living paycheck to paycheck. What other options are out there? What if the person already tried joining a credit union and was rejected because of low credit score. May not be able to legally purchase a car because license is suspended and $10, 000.00 worth of parking tickets.

Get your parents to co-sign on the loan. Otherwise you have NO CHANCE. Whoa, suspended license, probably no loan (even with a co-signer). Everyone - car dealer, loan officer, insurance will want to see your drivers license. Without one no loan, no car, no insurance.

This person can purchase a car by saving money so he/ she can buy it in cash. With that credit score and the unpaid parking tickets, he/ she isn't going to get a loan.
