Question: Does anybody know where i can get a low income apartment in helena montana?

Okay so im moving to helena in thirty days and i need to know where i can get an apartment that is either low income or pretty cheap i can take 400/ month but I'm going to be in school and my girlfriend and i are going to be living together when she turns 18 HELP! lol i'd also like to mention that we're NOT "playing house " i mean for god sakes we both are finally getting out of abusive families and we need a place to stay until we can move somewhere else

You will not able to apply for a low income apartment until you reside there. You will not qualify anyway. Both of you would be required to work at least 35 hours a week each, and that will make your income too high for just 2 people.

Unless you have a child, you won't qualify. Low income housing is to help families and keep kids from being homeless on the streets and NOT help able bodied teenagers who want to make a go of playing house. Even if you DID qualify, the waiting list is measured in YEARS. Your 30 day timetable is laughable at best.

Check out ANELEHAPARTMENTS.COM You can get a studio apartment for $415.00 per month and it is close to the college, and I think you can apply on line. For $400 a month you will probably have to rent a room in a big house with a few other students. There are quite a few low income apartment buildings in Helena, you can contact the Helena Housing Authority to see if you would qualify.
