Question: Does anyone knows any town house, apartment or condos in ithaca, ny that allow 5 big dogs?

5 is pretty excessive for any area but to be looking for a rental...that's a tall order. Your best bet is to do the hard time-consuming work of going through tons of ads in the paper, online and on hanging flyers in the areas you want to live. Mom and Pop-type landlords will be your best bet versus anything owned by a company. Of course you'll want to call first to find out if that part of NY even allows that many big dogs on a single property...let alone renting one! That's just the extra responsibility of taking on this many animals. Trust me, I'm a dog lover myself but learned to balance that against what works easiest in society...and my wallet LOL. I've been in your shoes though (just 1 dog at a time is work) so this may take you a few weeks of calls, visits, followup calls, etc. before you finally find a rental. It's not going to be easy so the sooner you start, the better.

5 dogs is kind of excessive. makes you sound like an animal hoarder, and no landlord wants to rent to someone who;s unbalanced.
