Not a chance. If you have a record containing a charge of illegal drug paraphernaila, you will NOT get accepted into a government funded low income housing project. If you need housing assistance, then you ALSO need to keep your record clean. Abuse drugs and you are 'off the list'. It is your choice.

I dont know if that is a felony conviction or not. You should call your Housing Authority and ask, and find out how much time would have to elapse since your conviction to qualify for housing. It takes at least 5 years to get a Section 8 voucher or get into public housing.

I don't believe Acermill got this one right for once. A paraphernalia charge is a misdemeanor. Your best bet would be to be upfront about the entire issue in the application. If it is a defining matter you will find out quick, but likely get a full explanation as to when you will be eligible in the future, but I doubt it will be.

Probably not. Section 8 has long waiting lists and they seem to look for reasons to get people off the list. A drug charge would probably suffice. You may not be "kicked off " the list, but it seems unlikely you would get housing unless you cleaned up your act.
