Question: How many rental propery loans can i finance?

My father and I are buying rental properties, we already have 7 financed loans. We were told that the limit from our lender is 10 (fannie mae will not buy on the secondary market after that). I was told by a wall street journal loan guru that some banks will give an 11th loan if they keep it on there books. I have been having a hard time finding lenders that will do this. My fathers income, savings and credit very impressive. Does anyone know a lender that can help us? We are making a ton of cash flow on these rentals!!!

I have a hell of a lot more then 10. That is 10 per bank. I have my 10 with Wells Fargo, my favorite lender, and the others spread out. Chase will not give you a bad time. However, I jst get my loan broker to get me one. She is with Prime Lending now, so I know they can help. I follow her whereever she goes, I am not loyal to Prime, just this one agent.

Good luck with that. most banks are backing away from investment properties. I have nine and my banks have told me no more despite solid equity and cash flow.
