Question: Would it be nice to live in outer banks ,north carolina?

Okay, I have been going down there for the past 11 years and I just can't help but want to back again! I have a huge interest in Marine Biology would therre be any jobs like that down there? What are the well paying jobs ? What part of the outer banks would you recommend to live in? I Would like decent pay and a nice house on the beach? Are the colleges down there good?

You did not indicate that you had a degree in Marine Biology or any degree for that matter. In order to move there with the expectations of getting a job there you would have to have experience in that area. Without a degree or experience in that field you would find it difficult to find a position in that career field. There are many excellent colleges in North Carolina, you might consider contacting a college in the area to find out if they would offer a degree in what you would want to do.The college you select might be able to assist you in obtaining a position as most colleges have a research department and might be willing to take on a recent graduate as a paid assistant. Other positions might be available you would have to contact the state unemployment department or google Marine Biologist followed by North Carolina or the city you would want to reside in. A well paying job would depend on what you are qualified to perform. Without a formal education or experience there would be no well paying jobs available to you. As for a place to purchase or rent that would depend on what you are able to pay for such a place. You would have to be approved and qualified to purchase a house. I agree. I have only been once but every time I buy a powerball ticket I think about moving there. I have done the research and found houses just off the beach that average for about $350k and the pickings are slim for a house actually on the beach, but saw a couple for 1-3 million.
