Maybe something that requires a few months of study, followed by finding a job easily.

Were it all that easy, many would already be in palm springs...look for something in the alternative energy field or in water conservation. In the near future, water and cheap energy will be very important fields, but you won't "get there " with a few months of study. Maybe installing solar panels will get you work, but you'll never get rich working for someone else. Good luck
