Posted by: thomas p on 2012-02-03, 14:02:15 I would assess how much money you will need to start up. Most small business usually require 6 months to 1 year to turn a profit. You need to talk with another small business owner. You should develop a working relationship with a bank in your area. Most of all you should strive to put your customer first in your business and to be honest in all areas of your life. |

Also check with where you are and make sure your boro/ township/ city or where ever you sell at is ok with you running a business at that address. You can check out sites like the small business administration for info on starting a business. As far as special insurance on the rental- that I do not know but maybe a call to a legal person who handles business law would know. |

Posted by: kemperk on 2012-02-03, 16:58:33 I want to know how you thought of this business. Do you wish to rent the chair covers? Or the chairs or both? where will you be getting the chairs from? or will people be bringing their chairs to you to rent your covers? I would guess a chair cover would retail for maybe $3.60. To rent that you might be asking 25 cents. YOU might get 15 customers a mo. IT would cost you perhaps $25,000 to advertise to reach them. this sounds like a PERFECT money LOSING venture. UNLESS our covers will be covering a very unique chair.........and why, if so, do you not want to sell it? [i will admit I love new ideas, regardless how zany they sound!] |
