It depends on your credit and your financial history and the history on the account. I have really good credit so I never had to pay a deposit or anything. I had a friend who didn't have any credit and she had to pay a $300 deposit. I had another friend who had really bad credit (bankruptcy) and she had to pay a $500 deposit.
