I e filed on 1 25 and was accepted on 1 26. I used rapidtax.com When I go to " Where's my refund" I have the typical notice that I'm scheduled to have my refund by 02 09. When I go to the Santa Barbara Trust and or Meta Bank site https cisc.sbbtral.com index.aspx to check, I see my fees for RapidTax.com are listed and it's telling me I should have my refund on 02 05. So the question is does that mean my refund has probably passed all the check points and will be deposited on schedule for somewhere between 02 05 and 02 09? It's really a non pressing matter, but, now I'm just plain curious I should add I didn't file for a rapid refund, just the normal direct deposit.

this is my first time filing with turbo tax and e filing.... last year i filed my taxes with Pinnacle 1 a tax preparation company and they went through Santa Barbara bank when sending my paper check. they messed up my taxes somehow and now Santa Barbara bank says i owe them $228. so this year i decided to file on my own and e file with turbo tax, but i see that they use Santa Barbara Bank too will they bank take the money theyre owed out of my taxes before sending my refund? is there anyway i can avoid having my taxes go through santa barbara?i read that if you have turbo tax deduct their processing fee from your federal refund that it will have to go through santa barbara.... but what if i choose to pay the turbo tax fees upfront with my debit card and have my refund direct deposit to my checking account? will my refund still go through santa babara? some please help me with understanding this santa barbara thing, and filing with turbo tax. this is my first time e filing and i really dont want to make any mistakes. thanks everyone
